Man, time is scarce. I have been torn in multiple directions lately. I have a story that just wants to be told so I am busy working on that adding about 2,000 words a day, if all goes well. I had plans to produce and direct a film this summer but it looks as if I may have backing to produce a limited run short film series, assuming money men like the script and story arc and they have to believe they can get a return in their investment in the DVD market...essentially, they want to air it on indie television stations (more in the US then you might think) and then sell it on DVD. The schedule will be like a television series but it would be monthly instead of weekly. I am also recording my novel for audiobook AND as if that wasn't enough stuff going on, I am running a publishing company.

Luckily, we have some incredibly strong staff members that make a lot of this possible.

We have a team of incredible editors and proofers.

I am still doing most (99%) of the cover art because, quite honestly, I enjoy it. And, cover art is a great way to cleanse the creative palatte, as it were.

It has been a good month so far. Sales are strong. Quiet Storm was at 187% of business plan. Which helped pick us up from May, which was one bad month (amazing that one bad month can take months to recover from in this business). We are at 56% of our yearly goal which is fantastic.

eBooks are building in numbers and Audiobooks are getting mixed reviews which, is why we start with my books when we do something new :). We are also actively working on building our Library relationships nationwide. Lots going on, the year is only half over but we're trying to ensure we close the year out with a bang!
